Casas da Ribeira

Casas da Ribeira are the result of the rebuilding of an historic village in Portugal whose origins are lost in the mist of time. In the early 90s the acquisition and rebuilding of stone typical houses begun. Of a long process several houses are rebuillt from ruins and today they are ready for welcoming visitors from all over the world that will enjoy and share the history and tradition of this Natural Park, Serra da Estrela, the most important mountain range in mainland Portugal reaching to 1993 meters above sea level in its highest point, Torre.

Casas da Ribeira are a set of granite stone houses, typical of this area of Portugal, rebuilt with all modern comfort but faithful to their original design and charm. All  houses are fully equipped and are rented with linen and dishes, and all kitchens are fully fitted.
